| [Business Times]Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd has acquired an additional 8 pct stake in Sri Lanka's first licensed Islamic Bank, Amana Bank Ltd (ABL), bringing its total holding in the latter to 20 pct. However, the price of the additional stake was not revealed in a media invite today. There were earlier reports stating Bank Islam planned to raise its stake in the Colombo-based Amana to 50 pct. |
