| [Bernama]Hong Leong Tokio Marine Takaful Bhd (HLTM Takaful) is eyeing RM2 million in premium contribution by year-end from its newly launched “Matta Haj and Umrah Personal Accident Takaful Scheme. The company was confident of achieving the target as te scheme has been made compulsory for Haj and Umrah pilgrims. The affordable scheme was jointly developed by HLTM Takaful and the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Matta). Three plans – basic, premium and premium plus – are offered under the scheme which provide for emergency medical evacuation, repatriation of mortal remains, medical expenses coverage, funeral allowance and “Badal Haji” (performing Haj on behalf of the deceased and permanently disable person). |
